Shunpike has been proudly serving Washington's arts community for nearly two decades. During a year of unanticipated challenges to our creative ecosystem, we are more motivated than ever to help artists thrive and explore sustainable avenues for producing and sharing their work. In order for us to continue providing equitable support, resources, and opportunities to our region's creators, we rely on support from you.



As much as we wish we could celebrate with you in person this year, we're excited to give you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at some of the artists we support and the initiatives we have in store. We'll showcase the #PoweredbyShunpike community through performances and conversations with artists and local leaders.

Rebecca Mmm Davis | Stay Up Late Show

Rebecca M. Davis holds a BA in Theatre from the University of Oregon. You may have seen her last December in The Bishop’s Wife at Taproot, or playing Touchstone for Seattle Shakespeare Company spring, 2019. A versatile host and MC, Rebecca has pivoted to hosting events online since the outset of COVID19! You may have seen her on the benefit fundraisers for SQFF, GenPride, PNRI or most recently, Intiman Theatre. Her production company, The Stay Up Late Show, has been with Shunpike since 2009. Since then, TSULS has produced cabarets, burlesques, and full length theatrical productions.

BBOY THESIS | Breakdancer

Known for his musicality and flavor, Thesis is a world champion bboy as both a solo artist and a member of the Massive Monkees hip hop crew.

Ben Hunter | Musician & Community Builder

Multi-instrumentalist who has dedicated his life to transforming the world’s stale status quo into a vibrant, inclusive, communal, and compassionate society.

Gretchen Yanover | Cellist

Takes listeners on a musical journey that transverses atmospheres and explores mood.



Merri Ann Osborne | Executive Director, Mahogany Project

Merri Ann has performed in Japan, the UK and the US as an actor, singer, dancer, voice over artist, improvisational actress and songwriter. 



Robert Moore | Dancer

A true storyteller through movement, Robert is a contemporary dancer with strong foundations in modern and ballet.



Noelle Price | Dancer

A contemporary creator and Artistic Director of PRICEArts, Noelle’s choreography is dotted with innovation.



June Sekiguchi | Artist

Sculptor and installation artist June Sekiguchi focuses on the metaphorical rather than literal interpretations of the materials she works with.
